Well, where do I start? Welcome to my own little corner of the inter-webs. I am Allie aka MommyBee; a 30 year old, basically a Las Vegas native, mother, student, blogger/vlogger and a wife. We had our first baby in October 2013, and she has changed my life in ways I cannot even put into words. Our princess has given me something so special to live life to the fullest for. Shortly after having our princess, we got pregnant with identical twin boys. Sadly I carried our boys to only 27 weeks when we went in for an ultrasound and we'd found out that we had lost our boys. That was the hardest day of my live, but sadly we has already known in our hearts something wasn't right when we went into the appointment. Praying we were wrong yet our biggest fears were confirmed. Dillion & Mason had been brought back to heaven. While it was a tragic loss for our family, it did give us some additional time to focus on our little girl one on one, a blessing in disguise. Surprise, Surprise... We just had our second child on earth July 27, 2016!!! Our little boy, go read all about him under BabyBee and check out our blog for regular updates on all of our family lives and the kids growth and developmental progression, as well as just some fun stuff we do as a family.
My husband, whom I lovingly call duais (Prize in Irish) owns and operates a tattoo studio in Las Vegas Nevada (Ironhorse Tattoos) which he opened in Jan 2000. He has been an amazingly talented tattoo artists since 1994, and has continued to learn new mediums and skills every day. He continues to strive to learn and improve upon his craft daily in some way.
I however recently converted from a stay-at-home mom to a tattoo artist and body piercer, as well as a full time student. Previous to becoming pregnant I was a Nurse, I loved what I did but did not want to put my child in daycare so I quit working and stayed home. Now that she is a bit older and we have someone we trust completely to watch our daughter I have started contributing to our household again. I have re-entered school to hopefully gain my master's degree in nursing. A long and rough road ahead that I do hope will one day show our princess that she can do anything as long as she want's it. I do love the new challenges that it brings and enjoy sharing my triumphs, messes, and adventures with you all along the way.
I have always loved art, drawing, painting, sculpting or a million other forms of art that I can learn. My husband has taught me some amazing skills I never believed I would be good enough to accomplish. He has always pushed me to do the things I believed I never could. Telling me how I could improve on anything I do along the way. He always keeps me inline, on track and motivated. He takes me as I am, loves me for who I am and makes me excited to wake up next to him each and every day.
Now for this next journey of focusing on my creative outlets within this blog, our family vlog and social media. It's been a rush to join a community of mothers, vloggers, bloggers and creatives that I can learn from. Too many women in todays society seem to judge one another, put each other down and degrade others. I was fearful of that starting this journey and have learned the complete opposite. While you have the mean ones on the inter-webs as well, they can easily be ignored (or have been so far). There are far more sweet, kind, caring women in this community than the mean trolls.
Please check out my social media links below, as well as my personal YouTube channel and our Daily Vlogging channel I am working on getting started. I am always open to constructive criticism, honest opinions and advice!
